UES Airport Flat Rates, by Named Route

Every airport transfer from the Upper East Side is a flat fare with tolls, taxes, and standard gratuity included — $140 to LaGuardia, $165 to JFK, $180 to Newark. Each airport has one best road out of the neighborhood, and geography does the UES a favor: the RFK Triborough Bridge entrance at 125th Street puts LGA closer to East 70th Street than to most of Brooklyn.

Route notes that matter: the JFK run rides the FDR south to the Queens-Midtown Tunnel, then the Long Island Expressway to the Van Wyck (I-678) — when the Van Wyck flags red at Kew Gardens, chauffeurs divert to the Grand Central Parkway around the north side. Teterboro (TEB) private aviation goes over the top via the Harlem River Drive and George Washington Bridge, skipping Midtown entirely; see private aviation service for FBO coordination. When Should You Leave the UES for a Flight?

The same LGA run is 20 minutes at 5 AM and 50 minutes at 5 PM; JFK swings harder still. The table shows realistic drive times by pickup hour for the two airports UES residents fly most.

  • One UES-specific wrinkle: on Museum Mile event nights — most famously the Met Gala on the first Monday in May — Fifth Avenue blocks close and pickups shift one avenue east. Dispatch plans around it; just book normally.
  • Morning JFK departures: the FDR southbound is the variable, not the Van Wyck. A 6 AM pickup beats both; an 8 AM pickup should budget the full 75 minutes.
  • Evening EWR runs fight crosstown traffic before the Lincoln Tunnel — leave a 3-hour total buffer for a rush-hour international departure from Newark.
  • Booking notice: 24 hours for routine weekdays; 48-72 hours for Friday afternoons, Thanksgiving, and Christmas week. Same-day is possible subject to availability — call (888) 503-4449.

Pickup Logistics on the Upper East Side

Most UES pickups are residential, and the neighborhood has its own rhythm: doorman buildings on Park and Fifth want the car at the awning at the stated minute, so chauffeurs stage on the block early and coordinate with building staff by phone. Madison Avenue between 60th and 86th, the Carnegie Hill blocks in the 90s, and the Yorkville high-rises east of Third Avenue all work the same way — the car waits for you, never the reverse.

Hotel pickups cover the Mark (77th and Madison), the Carlyle (76th), the Lowell (63rd), and the Pierre (61st at Fifth). The York Avenue hospital corridor is its own category: Memorial Sloan Kettering, Hospital for Special Surgery by the FDR, Lenox Hill on 77th, and Weill Cornell — chauffeurs stage at the correct entrance and assist with boarding; recurring treatment schedules can run as standing bookings through medical transportation.

Choosing the car: a Business Sedan (Lincoln MKZ, Chrysler 300) handles 1-3 passengers and 3 bags — right for most solo and couple transfers. Families heading to JFK with strollers and checked luggage want the Business SUV (Chevrolet Suburban, Lincoln Navigator, 4-6 passengers, 6 bags) at $230. For a gala-night arrival or a board-level guest, the First Class Sedan and First Class SUV add the S-Class and Escalade ESV. Multi-stop mornings — school drop, then the airport — fit better as an hourly charter at $95/hr. As of 2026, Noble Black Car Service has completed 10,000+ rides across NYC, and UES-to-LGA is among the most frequent. See the full Upper East Side black car service page for neighborhood coverage beyond the airports.

UES Airport FAQs

The most-asked questions about UES airport routes

Noble Black Car Service flat rates from the UES: JFK $165 sedan / $230 SUV, LGA $140 / $200 (closest, via the RFK Triborough Bridge), EWR $180 / $250, TEB $180 / $250, HPN $200 / $270, ISP $275 / $345. Every rate includes tolls, taxes, and standard gratuity, and never surges.
The RFK Triborough Bridge to the Grand Central Parkway: 20-30 minutes off-peak, 35-50 in rush hour. The bridge entrance at 125th Street is about 1.5 miles from most UES addresses, making this the fastest Manhattan-to-LGA run of any neighborhood — a big reason UES flyers favor LaGuardia. $140 sedan / $200 SUV flat.
Anywhere — Madison Avenue (60th-86th), Park and Fifth Avenue co-ops with doorman staging, the Met Museum, Lenox Hill Hospital, Memorial Sloan Kettering, Hospital for Special Surgery, Hunter College, the Frick, and the UES hotels: the Mark, the Carlyle, the Lowell, the Pierre. Chauffeurs coordinate with building staff so the car is at the awning, not around the corner.
Book 24 hours ahead for routine weekday transfers; 48-72 hours for Friday afternoons, Thanksgiving week, and Christmas travel. For departure timing, add the drive from the table above to airline buffers: a 4-7 PM JFK run can hit 90 minutes, so a 6:30 PM domestic flight means leaving the UES by 3:30 PM.
Yes — the York Avenue hospital corridor is core UES territory: Memorial Sloan Kettering, Hospital for Special Surgery, Lenox Hill, and Weill Cornell. Chauffeurs stage at the correct entrance, assist with boarding, and drive at a patient-appropriate pace on request. Recurring treatment schedules can be standing bookings; see medical transportation for details.
Nothing changes for you — Noble tracks inbound flights in real time and adjusts the pickup automatically, and every airport arrival includes 60 minutes of complimentary wait after landing plus baggage-claim meet and greet with a name sign. The flat rate does not change with the delay.
Yes. Westchester County Airport (HPN) is $200 sedan / $270 SUV via the RFK Bridge and Hutchinson River Parkway — 50-75 minutes. Long Island MacArthur (ISP) is $275 / $345 via the Grand Central Parkway and LIE, 60-90 minutes. Teterboro (TEB) private aviation runs $180 / $250 via the George Washington Bridge.
