Chauffeur Tipping: What Is Already Included?

Noble’s published base fares already include 20% gratuity. You do not need to add another tip to meet that included gratuity.

Check whether gratuity is included in the total rather than calculating it twice. Noble’s published fares include tolls, tax and 20% gratuity. Other operators may quote differently, so review their own terms.
Separate extras from gratuity
A requested child car seat costs $20 extra per seat. Extra waiting or a changed itinerary may also affect the final total under the booking terms. These charges are not an additional tip.
For example, a $270 estimated Manhattan-to-JFK First Class SUV fare plus one requested child seat totals approximately $290 before any other applicable changes. Do not add 20% again to that published base fare.
Optional additional appreciation
Any extra tip is your choice. There is no need to invent a compulsory percentage on top of the included gratuity. If a receipt is unclear, ask dispatch to explain the charge before paying.
For business travelers
Keep the booking confirmation and itemized receipt for your expense policy. Ask your employer how it treats optional extra tips; do not assume every organization reimburses them.
