When plans become firm
Reserve once you know your itinerary, especially for a large group or a specific vehicle. Confirm availability rather than treating a suggested number of days in advance as a guarantee. Record flight numbers, passenger counts, bags and child-seat requests.
The day before
Check the airline’s departure and check-in guidance, terminal and flight status. Review a live route estimate and add a separate buffer for congestion or weather. Confirm the pickup address and a phone number that will work while traveling.
